Makar Sankranti in Hyderabad
Initially the only memories I had of this festival were only of my hometown were people ate dahi chooda (curd and beaten rice) on this day.
But in Hyderabad , I was mesmerized by the celebrations.
Rangoli is indeed a ver important part of celebrations in South India. Whether its a festival, pooja , New Year , Independence day, Birthday or any other auspicious day , its a must.
Ladies and Girls have expertise in making Rangolis and everyone is so good.
On Makar Sankranti , every home will have Rangolis.
The other thing is the Kite flying. I enjoyed it thoroughly and followed a lunch at colleague's place.
